I have previously produced and acted in productions such as The Vagina Monologues and Twilight Los Angeles. I am also a Gullah Geechee Performer for Fat Cat Productions, a djembe player, dancer and a TINY BUSINESS Owner.

Through my program D.R.I.V.E.N. LLC and a grassroots organization UP (Unlocking Potential), I host events, workshops and speaking engagements that provide resources for young girls and women. I use the power of art along with restorative justice practices to provide expressive outlets to youth, reminding them of the foundation of  their history.

I am working as an organizer of the conNECKtedTOO Piccolo Spoleto Interactive Tour/Performance in the Charleston MLK district “Bet on Me, I bet on you”. The tour will begin with a Drum Call at the Cannon St. Arts Center and finish on the Piazza of the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, at the corner of Spring and Coming Street. Along the route there will be music, a flash mob, small skits and impromptu conversations with a historian, TINY businesses, members of the conNECKtedTOO team and neighbors. Performers, actors, including visual artist Kit Looney and musician Kurtis Lamkin will share their memories and history, helping anyone live each moment of this participative experience.

As we continue developing this interactive piece you are welcome to send us an email connecktedtoo@gmail.com for your thoughts and interest in becoming part of it. We look forward to collaborating with you.
